Origins:
During his tour for, The Sword of Summer, Riordan announced his next project a five book series about the god Apollo. The was released on May 3, 2016.
The second book The Dark Prophecy is set to release
on May 2, 2017.
Synopsis
Zeus has punished his godly son Apollo-god of sun, music, archery and more by casting him down to earth in the form of a gawky, acne-covered sixteen year old mortal named Lester.
The only way Apollo can reclaim his rightful place on Mount Olympus is by restoring several Oracles that have gone dark. What is affecting oracles and what can Apollo do without his powers? After experiencing dangerous-and frankly humiliating-trails at camp Half-Blood, Lester must now leave the relative safety of demigod training ground and embark on a hair raising journey across America. Fortunately what he lacks in godly graces he's is gaining in new friendships.
THE DARK PROPHECY:
In the previous book we saw Leo and Calypso,
join Apollo on his journey of Trails, after their so called 'Happy the Dragon' picked up the frequency from the beacon set by another camper which helped them return to camp, after Leo had blasted himself mid air in order to save the world in the book 'The Blood of Olympus'.
This part may show the reunion of the Camp Jupiter Team and will be based upon the 2nd oracle which is situated in middle of United States of America.
It will revolve around re awakening of the 2nd oracle and Apollo will have to save the oracle from the Roman emperor
and the python. The real question is will he be able to do it while he is stuck in his human form?
